wpe1.jpg (6267 bytes) Although the harmonica is most often heard in blues and country music, it is still quite capable of playing bluegrass lead. Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, and the Stanley Brothers all used the mouth harp in their bands or recordings at one time or another.
Here is the tab, notation, and guitar chords to several fiddle tunes often heard at bluegrass jams, and a bluegrass harmonica solo for "Going Down the Road Feeling Bad" from my book, Blues and Rock Harmonica to try. This song has been performed by everyone from Woody Guthrie to the Grateful Dead.
