For sale: 2005 Collings MT2V mandolin, serial #1033. The MT2V
is the top of the line A-style mandolin made by master luthier Bill Collings
of Austin, Texas. It features
the same construction and appointments as the standard MT2, but includes an
oil-based varnish which provides a faster
response with deeper and warmer treble, and a greater overall dynamic range.
Condition is very good-no cracks or wood scratches, but a few minor dings in
the finish only. Asking $3500 plus shipping. Extra photos are available on
