The
Siren Sisters String Band |
|
The Siren Sisters- From 1990-1992 I played with The Siren Sisters String Band, an Albany, NY-based alt. country group fronted by two female singers. We had tons of fun playing classic country, bluegrass, and some way cool originals. MP3s are below, and most of these feature solos by me on harmonica, mandolin, or banjo. In the early 1990s snapshot above, we are performing on the patio of the Half Moon Cafe, a bygone bohemian haunt on lower Madison Avenue in Albany. L.-r. - Me, Kathy Bush, Pat Mullaly, Dave Owens, Caroline Johnston, Joe Pasco (to whom thanks is due for the photo above), and Brian Wellbrock. - G.W. |
